Andrew - Sunday, October 19th, 2003 1:11 PM EDT Philip, I was at your Oct. 18 Facing Mecca performance at the Cutler Majestic Theatre. I had no idea what to expect before the show, though I knew I would enjoy it as I have come to rely on the World Music Crash Arts program to be a quility show if not sometimes a little out there. It couldn't have made me any happier when I realized there was a vocal percussionist in the band and that he got to take a solo. Not a short solo either: a nice long one. Your beatboxing blew me away. I have been practicing vocal percussion for a year or two now as a side project and have felt stuck at my current level of skill (which, after last nights performance, I have realized is very much novice). I was wondering if there was any way to connect up with you and get pointers or feedback or simply some general suggestions as to how you practiced and figured out new beats and sounds. Thank you. -Andrew Sduduzo KA-Mbili - Monday, October 6th, 2003 12:14 AM EDT Philiph and crew, How are doing.
